OFM Wins Best Product Video of the Year in 2016 Internet Retailer Excellence Awards
OFM, one of the nation’s leading office and school furniture manufacturers and distributors, won Best Product Video of the Year in the 2016 Internet Retailer Excellence Awards. The company was honored last night at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition (IRCE) in Chicago along with a dozen other top retailers who also took home awards including Wayfair, Target Corp., Sephora USA, Inc., and Motorola Mobility.
“We are so honored to be recognized with this award,” said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “As a company, we have always strived to go above and beyond to showcase our furniture in creative ways and take advantage of new technology.”
Internet Retailer is a leading publisher on e-commerce strategy and the largest e-retailing monthly magazine. It first named OFM as one of five finalists for its Best Product Video of the Year category and then named it the winner last night at IRCE. Finalists in the Best Product Video of the Year category include Music & Arts, Mobovida, Native Commerce, Thos. Baker.
OFM was nominated for a two-minute video in which Zalcberg shows OFM’s Marquee Reception Station, including set-up options for disabled workers, different colors and assembly. OFM’s Digital Marketing Specialist, Nate Ligons, is behind many of OFM’s new and creative videos helping the company showcase its design-forward products. Zalcberg says Ligons’ passion really comes through in his work and has taken the company’s product videos, which it’s been making for more than six years, to a whole new level.
“Our goal is to offer our customers an experience that comes as close as possible to actually sitting down with our furniture in the store,” added Zalcberg. “We want them to be informed as a customer so they can feel good about buying our products.”
