OFM Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation with New Video Series on How We Work
Documentary-style initiative focuses on individual artisans and entrepreneurs
To mark its 20th anniversary, OFM, an office and school furniture manufacturer, distributor, and wholesaler, is collaborating with local North Carolina artisans and startups to highlight the different ways Americans work in today’s constantly changing economy and honor where the company was first founded twenty years ago.
“It’s a great time to reflect on how America works, “said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “OFM is excited to kick off our new video series looking at individuals who inspire us and talk about the way they work. We hope this new video series inspires others too.”
OFM’s “How We Work” documentary-style initiative explores the relationship between individuals and their workspaces. Over the last two decades, the American workplace has undergone dramatic changes, from the introduction of personal computers to the widespread use of smartphones and tablets. Through it all, OFM has innovated, adapting its furniture to meet the everyday needs of workers, whether that’s at the office, school, or home.
In 1995, Abel and Barbara Zalcberg started OFM out of their home in Cary, N.C. Though it’s grown to a staff of 45 full-time employees with operations around the world, it still has that family touch and prides itself on great customer service, fast shipping turnaround, and quality furniture at an affordable price.
