HBF Textiles Wins Two Awards in its Debut at BDNY 2024

HBF Textiles is excited to announce that they have won two awards at this year’s BDNY trade show. Overall, the show was a huge success for the brand with the incredible quality attendance, engaging conversations, valuable connections, and overall positive feedback.

Moments of Wander, designed by Christiane Müller, her fourth collection with the brand, won the BDNY Product Award for Best Fabrics Collection. The indoor/outdoor textile collection is inspired by Müller’s travels over the years and was designed to evoke emotions and memories, reconnecting us with nature even within the confines of our interior spaces. The three designs reflect Müller’s desire to recreate this nurturing feeling in both interior and exterior spaces. Each explores the natural world in its own unique way, from the panoramas of Fields of Velvet to the landscapes of Trails of Tweed to the biodiversity of meadows in Seeds of Color, inviting us to stop and admire their beauty while humbly reminding us of nature’s magnitude, fragility, and universal language. The collection welcomes designers and architects to create their own “Moments of Wander”, where each combination of fabrics, structures, and colors fosters a new connection to the outdoors within interior spaces.

The Bao Collection, designed by ALA Studio, was also on display in the HBF Textiles booth and was awarded the BDNY 2024 Aspire Award for Seating. A smart, effortlessly mobile all-rounder to public or private interiors, HBF’s Bao aims to be an ode to all things precious. With close attention to user experience and comfort, the sculptural silhouette of this versatile piece works as a standalone or within any arrangement. With a charming play on the Chinese word Bao—a homonym for bun, bag, precious, and baby—Bao was conceived to bridge the gap between formal and informal, sedate and lively and offers a seating solution like no other. Bao is available in four fresh iterations—small round, stacking round, medium round, and large half round. The small round Bao is also available in low loop, high loop, and work height variations.
