Nora Lighting® Donation Helps Support 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk
Nora Lighting recently presented a donation to the 2020 Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk, the first-ever virtual Half Marathon with participants running in their own communities. Runners raised funds to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with locations throughout Boston, Massachusetts.
“Nora Lighting was delighted to help support the Jimmy Fund, which is comprised of community-based fundraising events and other programs that directly benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,” said Nora Lighting Executive Vice President Jilla Farzan.
“The Institute provides patient care for children and adults and oversees advanced cancer research.
“The generosity of millions of people in Boston and around the world has helped the Jimmy Fund save thousands of lives and reduce the burden of cancer for patients and families since its founding in 1948,” she said.
“The Nora team was very glad to help support this year’s Jimmy Walk fund raising event.”
