Nick Nixon to Lead Marketing/BD Efforts for WSP USA Buildings Practice in the West

Nick Nixon has been named a senior associate and west region marketing manager for buildings at WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading engineering and professional services organization.

In his new position, Mr. Nixon will manage all marketing activities for the firm’s west region which encompasses offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix and Honolulu.

Mr. Nixon has 17 years of experience in the US and abroad, primarily focused on strategic planning, client relationships and brand management. Prior to joining WSP, he was vice president for business development with the Puccini Group, a San Francisco hospitality design firm. He led global business development efforts with current and prospective clients mainly in the North American, European and Middle Eastern markets.

“A highly successful business development professional, Nick has extensive experience working overseas in Japan, Thailand, and Hong Kong,” noted Michelle Galindez, vice president and national director of marketing for the buildings practice. “He brings a fresh perspective to the firm that will greatly enhance its overall marketing efforts.”

Mr. Nixon received a bachelor of arts degree from Wichita State University. He volunteers with Ronald McDonald House Charities and AFS Intercultural Programs, a high school exchange program.
