Nick Greenko, Chief Financial Officer for Tangram Interiors, was selected as a finalist in the Los Angeles Business Journals CFO Awards, the publication’s annual recognition of top area financial executives. Tangram is a provider of highly creative commercial interior environments and workspaces. The awards presentation was held Sept. 18, 2017, at the L.A. Hotel Downtown.

The prestigious awards program honors L.A. county finance professionals for their ongoing efforts and contributions as essential members of a companys core leadership team in a challenging and ever-changing economic climate.

Greenko is a member of the original Tangram management team that relocated from Detroit, Mich., to purchase Tangram from Steelcase in 2002. He has broad oversight responsibility for the accounting, finance, human resources, risk management, IT, design, marketing and customer service areas of the business. His experience encompasses 35 years as a senior financial executive with diverse organizations from banking to non-profit, including 20 years in commercial furniture. Greenko heads the company’s finance group as well as all support disciplines, the Tangram Studio custom workspace division and the West Elm partnership.

Since 2015, Greenko has resided in the DTLA Historic Core to be part of the urban renaissance in Los Angeles. He has participated in charitable events for the California Hospital Medical Center Foundation and the downtown medical center. Additional activities include patron of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; member of Alliance Francaise of Los Angeles; board member of Pacific Symphony Orchestra, chairing the Strategic Planning Committee and co-chairing the Opera Task Force; patron of KUSC; and patron of LA Opera. He has also been an active participant in sponsorship of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program in LA since 2015.
