New TV Design Show Office Spaces™ Premiers September 24

Series follows the step-by-step renovations from design to installation of new office spaces; Host and Interior Designer Kalyn Rothaus builds excitement as viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the renovations taking place to transform an outdated warehouse into a modern hi-tech office space

Office Spaces™, a new reality office design series will debut on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7:00 AM (ET/PT) on Lifetime®. Produced by BrandStar’s award-winning home improvement show Designing Spaces®, Office Spaces offers a twist –the remodeling, renovations and redesign will be filmed on location for its own new corporate headquarters, located next door to their current site.

2015.0928.Nwy.Office Spaces TV showIn this first segment of the 9-part series, viewers will meet Interior Designer and Host of Office Spaces, Kalyn Rothaus, who was hired to manage the project. Rothaus will show viewers along with company Chairman & Founder Mark Alfieri, and COO Carmen Marston Feinberg a 3-D interactive rendering of the new building.

Her challenge is to transition BrandStar’s 135 employees, housed in 22,000 square feet scattered over four floors in two buildings into the new 11,000 square foot space.

The vision of the design for the new headquarters will be centered around creating a collaborative work environment in a modern and efficient workspace that increases productivity and encourages a new culture for its employees — all on one campus.

The premiere episode will show a glimpse of some of contributed products/ services from the biggest national names in interior design that will help transform the old warehouse into the new modern hi-tech office space: SMART Technologies (a 55” and 84” SMART Board), VIMtrek (BIM software), Armstrong World Industries (ceiling tiles with Total Acoustics™), Acuity Brands (smart lighting systems), 2/90 Sign Systems (personalized name signs), Arnold Furniture (custom designed furniture), Barco (visual collaboration solutions), Avenue C from Canteen (micro-market vending with fresh, local food & beverages), CARVART (glass partitions, hardware, doors), COMPAC (workplace quartz and marble surfaces), Dynasound (ambient sound solutions), Noble Environmental Technologies (decorative wall treatments), Innovation Cabinetry (cabinetry for the office kitchen), Mayline (office furniture), Milestone Systems (digital security software), Axis Communications (video surveillance cameras), (wiring to create a connected building), BSA Corporation (General Contractor) and ICON Design Group (Architect).
