Trendway on Mar. 2 announced the opening of its new Los Angeles showroom on the 12th floor of The Reef. Located at 1933 S. Broadway, The Reef is home to a diverse group of entrepreneurs, events and wholesalers as well as makers in fashion, technology, media, design and the arts.
“We are excited to share this new space, with other innovators, entrepreneurs and creators,” said Mark Rhoades, president, Trendway. “Our Los Angeles showroom has been designed to meet the needs of our valued West Coast dealer network, and demonstrates our commitment to serving our customers as a trusted partner for workplace solutions.”
Utilizing Trendway’s full architectural wall line, the space is delineated into hospitality as well as private and open office zones.
“For more than 50 years, Trendway’s architectural walls have been used all over the world to define space and provide businesses with a flexible footprint for future reconfigurations without disturbing the infrastructure,” said Rhoades. “The various concept areas within our LA showroom exemplify a smarter approach to interior walls.”
After occupying the first floor of The Reef since 2010, Trendway’s design team transformed the 12th floor 2,400-square-foot space from an art gallery into an open concept showroom in less than two months.
“A renovation of this scale would traditionally take up to eight months. We significantly reduced the planning and design time of this project by utilizing products from our new Snap program,” said Rhoades. “Our exceptional standard lead-times of two to four weeks also contributed to the fast execution of the project.”
Trendway’s Snap program simplifies the complex process of specifying furniture and outfitting an office space into three simple steps: select a workspace, pick your furniture groupings and choose your color palettes and finishes.
Showroom guests can explore a variety of contemporary workspaces, including touchdowns with locker storage, lounge areas and collaborative spaces as well as open and private offices. Trendway’s complete line of office furniture and capabilities, including its three lines of architectural walls, are showcased throughout the space.
An open house for Trendway dealers and sales reps and was held on February 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
