Sharing the latest outdoor lighting from Louis Poulsen:

The LP Xperi offers a 24/7 experience to passersby. In the daytime, the LP Xperi’s open, geometric design captures the sun’s rays and filters them through the luminaire – while also offering an ever-changing view of the sky through the ribs. The Xperi modern design allows easy installation and offers a range of asymmetrical and symmetrical light profiles.

The Homann Park, which earned top marks in a Louis Poulsen design competition for a subtle, stylish park and path luminaire. The design was one of four entries in Louis Poulsen’s search for elegant, technologically advanced lighting fixtures that are aligned with current outdoor lighting trends including the Dark Sky requirements in California.

New LP Xperi post top brings futuristic style and glow to residential and local roads
At the heart of the LP Xperi design is the belief that a street lu- minaire must be beautiful when lit – and visually interesting when switched off. As such, the LP Xperi post top for residential and local roads offers a 24/7 experience to passersby. In the daytime, the LP Xperi’s open, geometric design captures the sun’s rays and filters them through the luminaire – while also offering an ever-changing view of the sky through the ribs. As darkness falls, the LP Xperi ignites a luminous mix of modern design elements, materials, and technology.
Conceived as a refined design concept for residential and local roads, the energy efficient, top-mounted LP Xperi is distinguished by a ge- ometric yet organic form.
From long distances, the top ribs of the luminaire can be slightly seen. As one moves closer, the underside of the fixture’s ribs becomes visible, with the ribs serving as reflectors that are gentle on the eyes – while directly illuminating the space beneath them with centrally-positioned LEDs.
LP Xperi is an aluminum luminaire consisting of a single element, which makes it easy to install. The design comes with a range of asymmetrical and symmetrical light profiles that provide optimal, even illumination of different road geometries while meeting local safety requirements.
LP Xperi will be available in the Fall of 2018.

New Homann Park design delivers a sleek design and thoughtful illumination to paths and parks
Danish designer Alfred Homann’s new side-mounted post top design, which earned top marks in a Louis Poulsen design competition for a subtle, stylish park and path luminaire, is now available to enhance outdoor spaces around the world.
The Homann Park design was one of four entries in Louis Poulsen’s search for elegant, technologically advanced lighting fixtures that are aligned with current outdoor lighting trends in the United States and Europe. A market survey overwhelmingly favored the sleek, smart expression and functionality of the Homann Park design.
A slimmed-down version of a cone-shaped luminaire, the Homann Park fixture comes in a version with glowing rings on both the bottom and the top as well as in a no-uplight version.
The self-illuminating fixture provides direct downward illumination that emphasizes the shape of the luminaire while enhancing ambiance and comfort. The design also offers round symmetrical and asymmetrical light distribution.
The post top is designed around Louis Poulsen’s circular LED board, which is recessed approximately 1.6 inches into the fixture and is also used in the LP Capsule. The design also features a Planar® front plate and a reflector for contrast reduction. Drivers and electronics integrated into the head prepare the fixture for modification with wireless connectivity. The Homann Park is available in powder-coated aluminum.
Homann Park will be available in the Fall of 2018.
