New GO Outdoor Table from Landscape Forms

Landscape Forms Says “GO Outdoors” with a Powerful New Platform that Supports People and Technology in Outdoor Space

Landscape Forms, North America’s premier designer and manufacturer of high-design site elements and advanced LED lighting, introduces the GO Outdoor Table, a new platform for outdoor activity. A true original, GO provides a focal point and gathering place, a large work surface with access to data and power on or off the grid, and an optional canopy with lighting. Landscape Forms President, Richard Heriford says, “Part of industry leadership is taking concepts that are successful elsewhere and reimagining them outside. For the first time, we are taking the culture created around a communal table, moving it outdoors, and bringing power along with it.”

GO supports work and social connection, individual and group activity, in the outdoor environment that research confirms is good for the human mind, body and spirit. “It is our responsibility to create furniture that supports people and the technology they want to use in the places they want to be,” explains Kirt Martin, Landscape Forms Vice President of Design and Marketing. “With the GO Outdoor Table we created a product that we believe will bring special value and enhanced experience to corporate and college campuses, transit and healthcare settings.” GO is made of robust aluminum extrusions and castings. Its frame is hollow like an airplane wing, channeling technology within sleek and simple forms. Its generous size – 9 feet long and 30 inches wide – make it a beckoning element in the landscape. The optional canopy designed to reduce glare on personal devices acts as a spatial anchor.

GO is offered in three basic configurations: dining height, standing height and standing height with canopy that enable people to work, meet or just plug in and connect, sitting or standing. The new platform is available in hardwired and solar versions. Hardwired versions have two small power garages located out of sight and within easy reach inside the legs. Power/cable boxes engineered to pass code throughout the U.S. close automatically when a device is plugged in, making them weather and corrosion resistant. The version with canopy and solar panel for powering integrated LED lighting conceals batteries within thin uprights with no visible hardware or fasteners. GO’s aluminum material dissipates heat, keeping surfaces comfortable to the touch even in hot climates. All aluminum parts are pre-treated with an environmental coating and finished with Landscape Forms proprietary Panguard II™ powdercoat to ensure an attractive appearance over a long life. GO is something new in the landscape: a product with presence that creates a place to be for connecting with nature, people and power. GO will be available to order in the second quarter of this year.
