New from KnollTextiles: Contour Collection

Bounce Drapery & Dottie Upholstery

2019 Contour Collection: an introduction of innovations

KnollTextiles is excited to announce the introduction The Contour Collection. Contour was initially inspired by a Dior Couture coat showing circles in an orderly grid-like formation. As the collection developed, the study of mixing organic and structured elements broadened to include interlocking geometries found in art pieces and sculpture. In addition to being the largest collection of 2019, Contour also holds several exciting firsts for KnollTextiles.

There are five upholstery fabrics in the Contour Collection, including Twist Tie, a mid-scale geometric pattern.  Infinite, Dottie and Code are  3 classic allover textures. Ultrasuede®, the premier high performance, multi-use faux suede gets fresh and exciting new colors. Ultrasuede®, Dottie and Infinite also pass ASTME 84 unadhered for wrapped panel use.

Making a bold and artful statement is large scale, double width Bounce drapery. Bounce combines a digitally printed circle and grid motif on 100% Trevira CS polyester. Pivot Stitch wrapped panel and direct glue wallcovering represents KnollTextiles’ first embroidered wallcovering.

Another first is Tranquil, an innovative 3 layer wrapped panel fabric offers inherent sound absorbing qualities.

Finally, Galileo, Light Year and Milky Way wallcoverings introduce a new nonwoven environmental wallcovering category for KnollTextiles. The three patterns are made with FSC certified wood pulp using highly sustainable manufacturing processes.
