The Arc-Com Design Studio found its inspiration in the earths surfaces and natural geological forms when conceptualizing our new privacy curtain offering, aptly named the Elements Collection. This group focuses on the unique textures and the intricately formed layers that occur in the surfaces of our planet.
This three-pattern offering seeks to transform healing spaces with positive connections to the design forms found in the natural world. Increased patient connectivity to the natural environment has been shown to improve patient outcomes. This collection reflects biophilic design principles and offers designers a beautiful group of organic pattern and texture.
Pattern Glacier borrows its textured surface from the large glacial formations that are a perennial accumulation of crystalline ice, snow, rock, sediment, and often liquid water. Glaciers originate on land and move down slope under the influence of their own weight and gravity. Pattern Glaciers layered blocks transition smoothly across the width and the length of the design. Varying textural elements within its blocks create additional surface interest. The four-color palette includes sky blue, Caribbean green, a latte influenced neutral, and a soothing lavender.
Pattern Mineral layers an irregular grid like structure, reminiscent of the crystal structures found in different types of minerals, over a horizontal texture that reminds us of the fine layers seen in other types of minerals. These contrasting layers create a surface that is both enticing and dimensional. Pattern Mineral is offered in seven colorways that include a range of blues, green, and neutrals.
Echoing the layers of water, gravel, silt and sand, found underground, pattern Aquifer utilizes linear texture and a subtle shifting of hue to create a gorgeously soft vertical color transition. Pattern Aquifer is stocked in six colorways including an herb green, a peach cast taupe, and two grey based neutrals.
