Neutral Posture Awarded National TIPS Contract

Neutral Posture, Inc., a women owned small business seating and systems furniture manufacturer, announced today that it has been awarded a national contract from The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS). TIPS is sponsored by the Region VIII Education Service Center (ESC8) in Texas and is governed by the Region 8 ESC Board of Directors. The contract enables all TIPS members to conveniently and confidently procure seating, systems furniture and accessories from Neutral Posture – without the need to conduct their own due diligence.

With this award the company becomes an approved TIPS vendor, making its seating, systems furniture and accessories available for purchase to public and private school districts, colleges, universities, federal, state, county, and city municipalities.

TIPS was created to connect buyers and trusted vendors with one another to streamline the purchasing process, providing buyers with substantial savings and best value by leveraging the power of cooperative purchasing. All awarded contracts through the TIPS program have been awarded under the competitively bid process and received a contract from TIPS Governing Board of Directors.

Neutral Posture’s contract, number 1102215 for Furniture, carries two possible 1-year auto renewals through October 25, 2018. The TIPS/TAPS contract is expected to expand the company’s customer base and lead to a significant increase in sales.
