NeoCon+NeoCon East Call for Presentations
HELP SHAPE THE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES & THE FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY
For 47 years, NeoCon has set the standard for exceptional programming in the commercial interiors industry. The NeoCon team has announced the official call for presentations for the 2016 conferences: NeoCon (June 13-15, 2016 – Chicago, IL) and NeoCon East (November 9-10, 2016 – Philadelphia, PA) and is seeking authorities to share professional insight and knowledge with commercial and residential interior design, architecture and facility management professionals. The selected conference speakers will gain visibility in the industry and contribute to the advancement of the profession. Interested applicants are invited to submit seminar proposals for NeoCon by October 15, 2015 and NeoCon East by April 15, 2016.
Submissions should address one of the educational tracks and program categories listed for the respective show. Programs should be one hour in length of time, including a brief session for question and answer. NeoCon/NeoCon East will seek continuing education unit (CEU) accreditation for all programs once they are selected. Programs should not consist of more than three speakers, including the moderator.
Members of the Program Advisory Committee will evaluate all proposed seminars based on the following criteria: overall quality, relevance to the industry, well-defined focus within the program track structure, practical applications of material, timeliness of the topic and speaker qualifications. The program must be educational in nature. Industry manufacturers or vendors not exhibiting in the trade show are not eligible to speak or participate as a presenter. In addition, material should be original; otherwise, sources must be referenced. For multiple speakers, each speaker must agree to the submission. Incomplete programs will not be considered. The final program selections and notifications will be made four months prior to the show. Only those selected will be notified.
