Effective December 1st, 2016, Nat Porter has joined the NELSON team as Managing Director of its Chicago office. With over 20 years of experience in design-related industries, Nat brings strong leadership, marketing, creativity, versatility, and strategic decision making to the position. He is passionate about listening to the customer, the people, and the process and then taking that input to formulate a winning strategy.

Nat obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He later went on to receive his Master of Business Administration at the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business. Nat has worked for various industry-known companies including Steelcase Inc., Turnstone, Omni Workspace, Patrician, Safco Products, Seeyond Architectural Solutions and KI.
