Moroso Featured at The Watergate Hotel
The newly redesigned Watergate Hotel in Washington DC is slated to reopen in the early winter under the creative direction of longtime Moroso collaborator Ron Arad. Many of Arad’s most distinctive designs for Moroso will be seen in the public spaces of the hotel, including the Ripple chairs, Soft Little Heavy, and the Victoria & Albert Big Armchairs (pictured above). Also, 9 pieces of Arad’s imaginative Misfits sofa in a striking red upholstery (pictured below) will be on display in the hotel’s lobby.
The Watergate Hotel will also feature a variety of pieces from Patricia Urquiola, Alfredo Haberli, and other Moroso designers, helping to give the storied hotel a modern sophistication.
