During Stockholm Design Days, the internationally acclaimed Swedish interior brand Mizetto unveils its first flagship store in Stockholm – a new destination where furniture, materials, and architecture converge in a playful yet functional expression, combining graphic aesthetics with long-term sustainability. The brand is investing heavily in both the Swedish and American markets, underlining its global design vision.
The Swedish design brand Mizetto takes a significant step in its Swedish expansion by opening its first flagship store at Rosenlundsgatan 38F in Stockholm, Sweden, exclusively on February 3, in connection with Stockholm Design Days. The showroom, covering 100 square meters, will be a destination for anyone who wants to experience Mizetto’s internationally acclaimed design up close, in an environment that combines functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
The store’s interior is designed to reflect Mizetto’s design language and modular philosophy. Open spaces allow visitors to move freely between furniture pieces and installations, while tactile materials and playful color accents create contrast and warmth.
“The flagship store is more than a place for furniture. It is a space where people can feel, be inspired, and understand what Mizetto stands for — curiosity, courage, and care for sustainability. We want visitors to experience how our furniture can transform a room and create dynamics in a way that is both playful and functional,” says Malin Muskala, CEO and co-founder of Mizetto.

Iconic Collections on Display
Cargo, designed by design studio ADDI, is the first sofa that Mizetto launched. It was a great international success. Each Cargo module can be combined in infinitely many ways and includes flexible backrests and integrated tray tables. For 2026, Cargo is introduced in new colors and fabrics, that enhance both functionality and aesthetics and expands the collection significantly.
Lumber, in collaboration with design studio ADDI, has a neutral form without a defined front or back, allowing it to blend into its surroundings. It can function equally well as a standalone resting point, sculptural room divider, or informal gathering space. The series is particularly suited for dynamic environments where movement never stops. Lumber won the 2023 Dezeen Award in the Workplace Design category.
Enfold, by Sami Kallio, is a flexible seating series with soft forms and playful geometry. It can be used as a standalone armchair or combined with other furniture to create dynamic landscapes in both homes and public spaces.
Understand, developed in collaboration with design studio ADDI, is a creative storage solution that plays with asymmetrical shapes and modular combinations. Understand functions both as a visual element and a practical storage system, where flexibility and personal expression are central.
The new flagship store is an investment that clarifies the company’s design vision and creates a central meeting place for both customers and collaborators. At the same time, the goal is to give more designers the opportunity to be visible.
“We don’t want the store to just be a place where Mizetto products are displayed. For us, it is equally important to create a living environment where we can highlight other talented designers — and in the Kalmar region, there is enormous creative strength. Local engagement and collaboration are a natural part of how we approach design and development,” says Richard Muskala, Head of Product Development and co-founder of Mizetto.

International Design Journey and U.S. Expansion
While Mizetto strengthens its presence in Sweden, the company continues its expansion in the U.S. A showroom and warehouse in Chicago provide the brand with a strong platform in the American market, where furniture such as Cargo, Lumber, and Enfold have been praised by both critics and architects.
“The challenge and the passion are our main drivers. Taking the step into the world’s largest market and also winning design awards there — that is motivation in its purest form. We are very happy with the positive response and invest both in service and in our long-term growth,” says Malin Muskala.
As part of Mizetto’s ongoing expansion in the U.S., the organization is now strengthened with both local presence and key expertise. The company has recruited Steven Griffiths as COO North America, based in Chicago.
“The recruitment of Steven Griffiths marks an important milestone in our establishment in North America. His experience and local market knowledge will be crucial as we take the next step in our American expansion,” says Malin Muskala.
Swedish and International Awards
In 2025, the company was named a DI Gasell in Sweden — a prestigious award given to the country’s fastest-growing and most financially stable companies. Mizetto also received the Best of Year Award from the U.S. Interior Design Magazine in 2025.
“We are incredibly happy about all the awards we have won. They are proof that long-term sustainability, bold decisions, and Swedish craftsmanship can drive international success,” say Malin and Richard Muskala.
The furniture is built to last, with modular solutions that make it easy to upgrade, repair, or change fabrics — something appreciated by both Swedish and international customers.
The new store on Rosenlundsgatan will be a place where both design professionals and private individuals can experience Mizetto’s journey from Småland to the world — and discover how the brand’s various furniture collections can create spaces that are flexible, expressive, and sustainable.
The flagship store opened to visitors on February 3, 2026.
