Dan Boivin

Alliiance announces Dan Boivin has joined the architecture and design firm’s business development leadership team.  Boivin will work to foster client relationships and support business development across all sectors of the firm, with a focus on the Public, Workplace and Science & Technology studios as Alliiance continues to expand its regional and national reach. “Having grown the firm to over 100 staff in the last few years, we have recognized the opportunity to significantly expand our business and relationships in the community. Dan will allow our studio leaders and content experts to focus more on serving clients and deepening their expertise. Working with Dan to expand our relationships and connect business needs with our expertise is a huge leap forward for Alliiance!” says Ken Sheehan, Principal and Public Studio Leader.

Dan Boivin joins Alliiance with decades of experience in a wide variety of industries.  A former chair of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, Boivin was also the executive vice president and general counsel for SeeChange Health, a health insurance and technology company. He has a knack and expertise for connecting people, process improvement, strategic planning, and project and contract management.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Dan Boivin aboard at Alliiance,” says Mamie Harvey, Principal and Science + Technology Studio Leader at Alliiance. “He understands how to find opportunities for collaboration. And when he sees that potential, he knows how to build excitement and momentum by speaking the language of each organization, whether from the civic, technology and scientific, or higher education sector.”

“I’m proud to join such a forward-looking firm, where problem-solving takes sustainability into consideration and good design’s ability to uplift the human spirit is front-of-mind,” says Boivin. “My contribution in a dedicated business development position will keep Alliiance on track to pursue goals of growth while allowing our experts to focus on their strengths — serving existing clients by solving their unique problems with innovative, beautiful designs and plans.”
