Andreu World announces the international jury for the 23rd edition of the International Design Contest. This competition, aimed at students, young designers and professionals from all over the world with no age limit, seeks to support and promote the new promising designers, highlighting the importance of sustainability in the creation of innovative furniture.
The jury of this new edition is composed of Marva Griffin, founder of the Salone Satellite of Milan, Marta Vall-llosera, president of the Higher College of Architects of Spain, Thomas Garvey, president of the World Design Organization and president of the jury of the 2024 Competition, Marta Alcañiz, Head of Design Spain at BBVA, and Ángela Montagud, director of Clap Studio. Each of them will provide a global perspective of the sector for the evaluation of the projects presented.
The jury will evaluate and award the best design proposals with a focus on the positive impact on people and the planet. This year’s special edition is focused on the Circular Design® Challenge, the company’s international industry-wide challenge for achieving complete circularity.
This year there will be a single prize for the best design, totalling 20,000 euros, plus three special mentions, and entries are now open. The deadline for entries is 29 November 2024.
