Meet Lauckgroup’s Newest Designers

Texas-based interior architecture firm lauckgroup is excited to announce seven new hires across its Austin, Dallas and Houston offices. Together, these employees represent lauckgroup’s continued investment in bringing on top-notch design talent to join its talented, close-knit community.

Austin Office:

Kendra Ordia

Kendra Ordia, RID, LEED AP, has been named Senior Project Designer, and has hit the ground running with project work for Cadence Design Systems. Ordia, who also serves as an assistant professor at Texas State University, previously was an interior designer at Gensler. She was drawn to lauckgroup for its refreshing, enjoyable work environment and impressive client roster.

Maddie Meylor

Maddie Meylor, an ambitious young graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been named a Junior Interior Designer at lauckgroup. Meylor received a B.S. in interior design and sustainability, is contributing her design expertise to several lauckgroup projects including Cadence Design Systems and Cognitive Scale.

Dallas Office:

Foster Cranz

Foster Cranz has been named a designer and has hit the ground running with project work for Streetlights. Prior to lauckgroup, Cranz worked as a residential interior designer in New York City for about five years and graduated from Parsons with a degree in interior design.

Stacie Smith, IIDA, has been named a designer at lauckgroup, and is currently part of the design team for CrossFirst Bank and Thompson & Horton.

Michael Okies

Michael Okies, LEED AP, has been named a senior technical coordinator at lauckgroup, and is contributing to projects including Streetlights and Block 23 in Phoenix, Arizona and Vista, California.

Houston Office:

Miguel Avila

Miguel Avila has been named a senior designer and project manager for graphics, signage and wayfinding projects. He provides support for lauckgroup’s Dallas, Austin and Houston office teams, and has hit the ground running with projects including Houston First Corporation and Harris County Houston Sports Authority.

Chris Martin

Chris Martin, NCARB, has been named a technical coordinator and is focusing on projects including Winstead Houston and GBH CPAs. Prior to lauckgroup, Martin worked as a designer at PDR Corporation.
