Mood

Carnegie’s new collection puts color, creativity, and sustainability front and center

Mood

Some of the collection’s highlights include:
-Built to mix and layer: patterns designed to work individually or in combination
-Price range flexibility: includes both statement pieces and budget-conscious options
-Sustainability credentials: PFAS-free, Low-emitting, Available with recycled content, Biobased fibers, and Seaqual marine plastic (ocean-recycled)
-No-compromise positioning: pairs bold aesthetics with Carnegie’s existing performance and sustainability standards

Carnegie, a leader in sustainable textiles and acoustical management solutions for the commercial industry, has launched the Crush collection, signaling the company’s shift towards a brighter, bolder aesthetic.

Crush was made for designers who lead with color. The collection brings together seven patterns and 39 SKUs — from bold graphics and plush velvets to expressive florals and embroidered Biobased Xorel — all designed to mix, layer, and play off one another. It’s a design-forward approach to high-performance commercial interiors, backed by a material story that doesn’t ask you to compromise. PFAS-free, low-emitting, and available with recycled content, biobased fibers, and Seaqual® marine plastic, Crush makes sustainability feel like a natural part of the creative process.

Aperture Embroider

“At its core, Crush builds on Carnegie’s long-standing legacy of creativity, but through a more emotionally driven lens,” says Aliesha Crosby, Design Director at Carnegie.“ It’s a celebration of individuality, self-expression, and joy, embracing bold color, organic forms, playful geometry, and unexpected combinations. We wanted the collection to feel optimistic, approachable, and full of possibility.”

Fable

Crush began with a question: what if color came first? Rather than building a story around individual patterns after the fact, Carnegie’s team started with a collective vision — bold, beautiful palettes that work together through mood, materiality, and energy.

The collection that emerged spans upholstery and wallcovering, with options that range from statement pieces to practical, budget-conscious choices. Every pattern was designed to stand on its own, but the real magic happens in combination. Crush gives designers the confidence to mix freely and create spaces that feel alive — all while delivering the performance and sustainability standards Carnegie is known for.

“With Crush, we’re excited to bring a bold expression for Carnegie — one that’s more expressive, more playful, and unapologetically design-forward, while continuing to deliver the highest levels of performance and sustainability,” says Gordon Boggis, CEO of Carnegie. “This collection proves that you truly don’t have to choose between great design and responsible materials – Carnegie gives you both.”
