The Meadows Showroom Grand Opening event on Tuesday was a huge success! Everyone is super excited about the new space and brand identity for the 48-year-old company.
Meadows Office Interiors Redesigned: A New State-of-the-Art Showroom
New York, NY (September 2015) – Market-leading contract furniture dealer, Meadows Office Interiors, is excited to announce the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art showroom.
Following a recent rebrand and move to Manhattan’s Lipstick Building, Meadows Office Interiors has designed a new working showroom on the iconic building’s 29th floor. Meadows’ stunning showroom displays the company’s floor to ceiling capabilities in an authentic working environment.
“The complete rebrand to Meadows Office Interiors was strategic, as the name properly reflects the truly turnkey experience we offer our customers,” says Marissa Allen, COO of Meadows Office Interiors, “These workplace assets, from systems furniture and seating to movable walls and collaborative technology, can be viewed by designers and customers in a real-world working environment, which is such an advantage when making product decisions.”
Meadows’ main objective with the new showroom is to bring the focus in house, offering clients a one-stop-shop for all interior needs. The showroom features a full suite of furniture and services from height adjustable desk systems by Haworth to digital collaboration tools configured in-house. The space is designed to display solutions for both small and large environments, while also demonstrating the importance of flexibility. Moveable wall systems transform conference rooms into event spaces showcasing Meadows’ understanding of the changing demands in workplace design.
The showroom also features industry-leading technology including Smart Glass, InFocus MondoPads, and sound masking for seamless collaboration in open office environments. Meadows has invested a tremendous amount of time and financial resources into cloud-based technology and developing a series of apps such as a proprietary wayfinding app called Meadows Workspace™, which provides a virtual showroom tour, gives detailed information about products and manufacturers, and demonstrates potential furniture variations.
Other distinctive features of the showroom include a living wall by Blondie’s Treehouse, ScentAir, a TopBrewer Scanomat coffee appliance, custom beverage and snack centers, and a rotation of art pieces by featured female artists.
The showroom reveal marks the pinnacle, but not conclusion, of Meadows Office Interiors’ evolution. Meadows’ longstanding history of excellence in client service combined with a modern brand identity and new innovative showroom is sure to affirm Meadows Office Interiors as a leader in the contract furniture industry.
Meadows Office Interiors Redesigned: A Forward-Thinking Rebrand for a 48 year-old Name
New York, NY (September 2015) – Market-leading contract furniture dealer, Meadows Office Interiors, is excited to announce the launch of a new brand identity. Recent shifts in workplace culture and the growing mobile workforce have transformed the traditional landscape for the contract furniture industry. Conventional office environments are a thing of the past as companies trade in cubicles for more adaptable workstations that promote collaboration and technological tools to support the mobile workforce of the future. Meadows Office Interiors views the shift as an opportunity to get ahead of the competition and position the brand as a forward-thinking leader in the contract furniture industry.
Meadows went through its own transformation over the last two years; an allencompassing rebrand of the 48-year-old company including a new brand name, logo, Midtown location and state-of-the-art showroom. In 2013, Sheri David, Marissa Allen, Dana Justus and Dina Radoncic joined executive management as the leadership succession plan for long-time owner Rosalie Edson, continuing the tradition of Meadows as a top Women-Owned Business Enterprise. Under this dynamic leadership team, Meadows has embraced innovation, beginning with a modern brand identity and new brand name. Previously known as Meadows Office Furniture, the company is now recognized as Meadows Office Interiors, a name that highlights their extensive and evolving turnkey services.
Meadows Office Interiors clients are cared for by dedicated account teams, which now include project-specific accountants and award winning, LEED® accredited inhouse designers. By pairing years of industry experience with the latest technology, Meadows is able to provide clients a full suite of furniture and maintenance services. Teams are equipped with customized software, cloud-based technology, digital collaboration tools, and extensive training through Meadows University, which help maximize productivity from anywhere and at any time. And from conception through installation, Meadows’ in-house Design Visualization Specialist helps clients and teams see visions come to life through detailed and realistic renderings.
The 2015 launch of both Meadows Service Group and Meadows Financial Services continues to build upon Meadows’ legacy of exceptional customer service and commitment to lasting client relationships. Through these carefully planned divisions, Meadows is now able to increase the effectiveness of furniture solutions post-installation while also offering unparalleled financial flexibility.
Another key component of Meadow’ rebrand is a new state-of-the-art showroom with 360-degree views of the New York City skyline. Contrary to traditional showrooms, Meadows built a working showroom, which showcases products in an
authentic office environment. Meadows employees sit at Haworth workstations (Meadows is a Preferred Haworth dealer) and conduct meetings in conference rooms enclosed in Smart Glass and stocked with interactive tools like MondoPads.
Meadows has invested a tremendous amount of time and financial resources into cloud-based technology and developing a series of apps for seamless collaboration between teams and clients. One such app is Meadows Workspace™; a propriety wayfinding app that provides a virtual tour of the showroom, gives detailed information about products and demonstrates various furniture variations.
Meadows’ strategic allocation of resources proves the new leadership team understands the evolving needs of clients and the changing industry landscape. The new brand identity is Meadows’ response to the demand for collaborative and economical space solutions that adapt to the changing demographics of work over time. Meadows’ longstanding history of excellence in client service combined with a modern brand identity and new innovative showroom is sure to affirm Meadows Office Interiors as a leader in the contract furniture industry.
