Mark Richey and WallGoldfinger: Millwork and furniture projects sure to wow
Millwork install: Mark Richey Boston Seaport projects shine
In this gorgeous Tishman Speyer photo at the top of the page, two past Mark Richey Woodworking projects representing both residential and commercial work appear side by side in the Boston Seaport District. Designed by SHoP Architects, the residential condo project, Pier 4, featured Ipe rain screens, soffit, fascia and ha-ha wall as well as matching interior work. Turner Construction Co. was the general contractor. See more Pier 4
For Goodwin, the Mark Richey team did interior millwork, including creating multiple elaborate and intricate multi-story staircases as well as paneling, reception and café work, and tables. The design was the work of Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype and construction was by Turner. Check out the Goodwin project
Furniture install: Large corporate project wows with ebony
WallGoldfinger Furniture was honored to work with Spector Group Architects and Benhar Office Interiors on a boardroom and conference table project for a New York client.
The table featured rare ebony veneer along with brushed stainless steel and solid wood edges. Other portions of the job included walnut and quartered figured ash veneer and engineered stone. See more custom furniture
News: Autodesk project wins Architizer A+Firm Award
Congratulations to Utile for its Architizer A+Firm Award in the less than 25,000 square feet category for its design of Autodesk’s space in Boston.
Mark Richey Woodworking was thrilled to work with general contractor Lee Kennedy Co. on the project. Mark Richey created a permeable collaboration pod out of ash wood. The pod takes its design from kiva circular meeting rooms. The Mark Richey team also brought to life arched passageways, also in ash, and provided banquette seating. The goal was depth and clean lines while also incorporating existing features. See more
