Luum Textiles has launched Chenille Appeal, a plush, soft upholstery fabric that invites touch wherever it’s applied. Chenille Appeal is one of five textiles from Luum’s Five Elements collection, which launched in September, and is now the second textile the brand offers constructed using SEAQUAL® YARN from marine plastic. SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC prevents marine litter from being sent to the landfill or incinerated, creates awareness of the problem of marine litter, and gives visibility to those people and organizations helping to clean our oceans.
Woven in North America, Chenille Appeal’s rich texture is crafted from recycled chenille yarns, where lighter-colored weft yarns overlap with darker warp colors to create depth and contrast. Soft yet durable, the fabric is engineered for performance in 12 bleach-cleanable colorways.
