Louis Poulsen’s Fall 2018 collection introduces new colorways and expands iconic and bestselling lighting collections. Designed to shape light, these new offerings provide a range of interior and exterior lighting that encompass the duality of design and light. All will be available for purchase in September.
PH Artichoke in Brushed Brass
Originally conceived in 1958 by Poul Henningsen, the iconic PH Artichoke celebrates 60 years with the limited edition release of a brushed brass colorway. Keeping the source of light hidden within layers of 72 leaves, the PH Artichoke uses LED bulbs to create soft, glare-free illumination. The brass edition will be available in all sizes.
PH5 and PH5 Mini in Copper
Six decades after its initial unveiling, the PH5 remains the bestselling design in the Louis Poulsen portfolio. To celebrate the anniversary of this beloved pendant, Louis Poulsen is releasing the PH5 and its smaller counterpart, the PH5 Mini, in commemorative editions that pair copper shades and white tiers.
Flindt Wall Light
The Flindt Wall is a circular, wall-mounted fixture that brings bold, sculptural illumination to both indoor and outdoor spaces. From the side, the Flindt Wall resembles a slim ellipse consisting of two overlapping ovals. The oval shape is lifted off the mounting surface, giving the fixture a light, floating appearance. Designer Christian Flindt worked with a combination of software, 3D printing, and metal casting to ensure the ideal balance between proportions, curves, and light in the three sizes and three colorways – white, corten, and alu gray.
Enigma Pendant in Black
The Enigma pendant lamp, which deconstructs the traditional chandelier concept into slim layers of concentric circles, is now available in a new black edition. The Enigma’s bold, sculptural form and soft, controlled, glare-free LED light evenly illuminates surfaces and surroundings, making it ideal for a range of interiors. Available in three sizes.
