Coronet LED—long known for its architectural linear lighting—is expanding into downlighting with CDL3, a fully modular 3-inch family designed to give specifiers a more complete ceiling toolkit.
What sets CDL3 apart is its “empty housing” approach and proprietary collar system. Light engines, trims, and optics can be installed and swapped independently—supporting adjustments during construction and over time without full fixture replacement. A collar installed after the ceiling is complete uses swing-out tabs to ensure a precise fit and consistent trim alignment, even across varying ceiling conditions.
The system includes round or square trim; standard or shallow housings; and fixed, adjustable, or wall wash distributions with a range of beam spreads—allowing it to adapt across project types.
CDL3 positions Coronet as a single-source option for both linear and point-source lighting.
