Landscape Forms, North America’s leading designer and manufacturer of high-design site furniture, structure, LED lighting and accessories, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roy Chan to its Board of Directors.
Chan is a global business executive with more than thirty years of industry experience in multi- and omni-channel retail, brand management, fashion product development, and merchandising and operations in both domestic and international markets. “We are very pleased to have Roy join our Board of Directors,” says Landscape Forms CEO Marjorie Simmons. “His product development experience and expertise in marketing and international business will be an excellent addition to our strategic discussions and guide us to an even bolder future. We’re looking forward to learning from him given his vast experience in global expansion.”
Chan began his career landing the exclusive rights to manufacture and sell the Benetton and Sisley brands in China. Since then, he has carved out a career based on innovative product, marketing and distribution solutions for leading fashion brands. Currently, Chan serves as President of International, Retail, and E-commerce at Away, a New York City-based lifestyle travel brand and one of the fastest growing consumer brands in the world since its launch in 2016. Prior to his current position at Away, Chan has served in multiple senior-level positions including President of International at Kate Spade & Company, Group President of International at The Jones Group, Inc., and Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager in International Business Development for Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. Sparking his lifelong passion for product design, Chan graduated from the Parsons School of Design with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing & Product Development and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History.
