Landscape Forms Adopts Health Product Declaration (HPD) Standard for its Site Furniture

Landscape Forms is pleased to announce its participation in the Health Product Declaration (HPD) Open Standardā„¢, a format for reporting on the material content of building products and the associated health effects. Landscape Forms counts among its clients some of the most forward-looking companies in the world. We are proud to participate in this standard to provide them and all of our clients with full transparency into the material content of our site furniture products in a mutual effort to foster healthy and sustainable environments.

HPD development, maintenance, and evolution are overseen by the non-profit Health Product Declaration Collaborative. The HPD Standard identifies a minimum set of chemical hazard lists against which ingredients must be screened to identify health and environmental hazards. To be considered complete, the HPD Standard requires full disclosure of the health hazards associated with each ingredient. Landscape Forms has begun the detailed process of documenting and reporting on the content of our products and each of their components. Our priority going forward is to issue HPDs for all newly introduced products and to complete declarations for existing lines on an ongoing basis. HPDs in PDF format are posted on our product web pages as they are completed.

We believe our participation in the HPD Standard is an important step in furthering our commitment, and the commitment of our clients, to transparency and sustainability in the creation of the built environment.
