While the Salone del Mobile showed itself as an opportunity to showcase the new surfaces in the marine eco-system, the FuoriSalone collateral event was the perfect location to illustrate plant-based nature through Martinique project (Design: Alessandra Stefani, Stefano Mora).
Protagonist of the exhibition was FluidoSolido, the new collection of 1620x3240x12mm slabs, which widen the range addressed to the world of furniture and ideal for horizontal surfaces indoors and outdoors, from tables to bathroom and kitchen tops.
FluidoSolido: Fluid surfaces obtained through the controlled expansion of cast pigments.

CONTAINERWERK & FRIENDS – NEW IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE OF DOMESTIC SPACES

Laminam was one of the partners of the FuoriSalone installation of containerwerk, which presented its reflections on the Microliving and Temporary Living themes in the Tortona area from 17th-22th April 2018.
The Stuttgart-based start-up, with the aim of creating pleasant low cost houses to reconcile the needs of high mobility with the “home” desire, acquires abandoned shipping containers and transforms them into high-quality domestic spaces.
The Laminam ceramic slabs of the I Naturali series in the Bianco Statuario Venato and Nero Greco textures in the sizes 1000x3000x5,6mm and 1620x3240x5,6/12mm have been used both for the facades and in the interiors of containers, combining functionality and high values.
Energy efficiency, recyclability of materials and long life, the basis of the Containerwork project, are key values for Laminam, which achieved the EPD certification for its surfaces LAMINAM 3+ and LAMINAM 5.
