The highly anticipated show returns to 3LABS in Culver City, with exciting new and returning exhibitors and premiere, exclusive media sponsors.
LA20/21: Los Angeles Modern Design Show & Sale will return to 3LABS Studio located in the heart of the Hayden Tract Arts District of Culver City on Friday, May 13th for the star-studded Opening Night Party to benefit the Los Angeles Conservancy, a non-profit member organization that works through education and advocacy to recognize, preserve and revitalize the historic architectural and cultural resources of LA County.
LA20/21: Los Angeles Modern Design Show & Sale will feature more than forty national and international exhibitors presenting furniture, decorative and fine arts reflecting all design periods of the 20th and 21st century. Formerly known as the LA Modernism Show, it has been expanded in format to include limited editions of contemporary 21st century art and design and will offer a broad range of exceptional design objects for collectors and home designers including furniture, lighting, sculpture, paintings, jewelry, silver, glass, ceramics, photography, textiles, prints, rugs, posters, vintage clothing and accessories. Billings Auction of Los Angeles will be displaying a 1958 VW Karmann-Ghia Convertible, declared one of the 100-best designed products in the world. Of the more than 40 presenters, AHRRS Contemporary Art of Paris, France, Reform Gallery and Off the Wall of Los Angeles, Archive of Laguna Beach, and Royle of Miami, will be among the returning dealers. Debuting presenters include Atomic Home and Hennessey & Ingalls of Los Angeles, Modeco Furniture of Newport Beach, Red Modern Furniture of Phoenix, Silk Road Modern + Oriental Rugs of Beverly Hills, The 2nd House Objects of Los Angeles, and Icon Modern Home of Rancho Mirage, CA.
The show begins with an Opening Night Party, benefiting the LA Conservancy with the Collectors Hour taking place from 6p.m – 7p.m, followed by a cocktail party and early buying opportunity from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 13th. Opening night tickets are $250 for the Collectors Hour and $100 for the Cocktail Party and are available in advance at www.lamodernism.com and at the door. The show continues through the weekend – open to the public – for admission of $15 per person at the door and includes a show catalog. Show hours are Saturday, May 14th, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, May 15th, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held at 3LABS Studio, 8461 Warner Drive, Culver City, CA 90232.
