A fresh perspective on best-selling upholsteries
KnollTextiles is excited to launch the Spring Forward Collection, expanding the color lines of popular upholsteries Diva, Summit and Eclat Weave, while also introducing a primarily wool upholstery, Wow Factor.
Working with their hearts and minds, KnollTextiles’ Design Team carefully considered the effects of color on our lives as they developed new hues for 3 of our best-selling upholsteries. They found that clients are gravitating towards soft neutrals, warm earth tones, and uplifting jewel tones reflected in nature and have a grounding effect in what are still challenging times.
Summit and Diva, part of the KT Collection of upholsteries priced at $40/ per yard or less, each have five new colors for a total of sixteen colorways. The additions include soft blush tones, nurturing green, rich burgundies, and luxurious blues.
The eight colorways of Eclat Weave include three additions based on designer and textiles icon Anni Albers’ original palette. A pure Modernist, Albers’ color sense is as current today as it was forty-seven years ago. Shades of blue, green, and gold now round out the palette and speak to Albers’ point of view for KnollTextiles with a fresh vision for today’s market.
Wow Factor is a wool-blend upholstery with a rich hand in twelve saturated tones, including classic neutrals, saturated jewel tones and tranquil earthy hues. Wow Factor’s knitted construction allows for a two-way stretch, making it appropriate for structured to curvy furniture pieces.
From recolored favorites to Wow Factor, immerse yourself in color with the Spring Forward Collection.
Wow Factor K2362

75% wool content gives our new upholstery Wow Factor a rich dry hand and saturated tones. The combination of 2 yarn colors in a similar tone, one light and one dark, creates a heather effect within each colorway.
The yarn is knitted on a state-of-the-art circular knitting machine, which creates a 2-way stretch making Wow Factor appropriate for all types of furniture pieces from structured to curvy.

Eclat Weave K1104

Pivoting from woven works to prints, Albers created Eclat, a striking pattern in bold colors on an off-white cotton/linen ground, for KnollTextiles in 1974. The design exhibits a mastery for building complex systems with simple repeating geometric forms.
Inspired by the original palette, KnollTextiles launched Eclat Weave, a woven translation of the pattern, in 2007.
The 8 colorways of Eclat Weave include 3 additions based on Albers’ original palette. A pure Modernist, her initial color sense is as current today as it was 47 years ago.
