KnollTextiles Launches The Outbound Collection
An eclectic multidiscipline collection
KnollTextiles is excited to introduce Outbound, an eclectic collection of 5 upholsteries and 1 well priced drapery. Outbound is a versatile collection that beautifully combines aesthetics with performance. Within Outbound you will find solid-color classics along with playful multi-toned patterns. The palettes ranges from warm and cool neutrals to distinct fashion driven hues. The high durability and easy maintenance allow Outbound to perform across various market segments.
Outbound includes 3 plush and tactile upholstery offerings for 3 different budgets with Summit from the KT Line providing affordable modern design, Woodland an allover textured chenille and Firefly patterned cut velvet.
Patterns Dune and Island are Sunbrella indoor/outdoor upholsteries. Sunbrella fabric features exceptional UV performance, bleach cleaning and a soft hand. Dune and Island are treated with Sunbrella’s proprietary Definace Finish, which provides both antimicrobial & antifungal protection in a single solution.
Last but not least Savannah is a drapery fabric with a dry hand in a classic color palette.
Upholstery
Summit: Summit is a KT Line foundation upholstery with a high end look at an affordable price. Summit has a slight allover texture and a soft hand. Of note is that KnollTextiles introduced a deep forest green called Range to the line.

Woodland : Woodland is a two toned idea that can be read as an allover or small organic pattern. Woodland is appropriate for all disciplines being equally suited for hospitality, corporate and healthcare interiors. It stands on its own while also working nicely as a complimentary pattern. The palette ranges from tone on tone to high contrast combinations. All colors are woven onto a neutral base allowing the focus to be on the color. Woodland is bleach cleanable and high durability with 100k+ double rubs. Woodland is made in the USA.

Firefly: Firefly is a jacquard cut velvet upholstery. The nature inspired pattern is elegant yet fresh with a luxurious soft hand. It is bold and playful while remaining highly usable. The mid to large scale pattern offers a distinct palette. Firefly is available in seven color options ranging from classic warm and cool neutrals to unexpected and exciting color combinations. Firefly is as strong as it is beautiful with over 100,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek.

Dune: Dune is an indoor/outdoor fabric made with Sunbrella yarn. It is an easy to use subtle allover texture with a dry hand. Being bleach cleanable, Dune is an excellent choice for all commercial environments and the recycled content makes it a nice environmental choice.

About KnollTextiles
KnollTextiles is currently under the creative direction of Dorothy Cosonas, who combines clean, clear color with modern, elegant patterns and textures. In 2005 Cosonas was named the 11th CreativeDirector of KnollTextiles. Her inaugural collection won a Best of NeoCon Gold award – her first of 7 along with 6 Silver awards for Knoll. In 2008 she founded Knoll Luxe as the fashion forward luxury component of KnollTextiles where she has contributed her own work along with collaborating fashion designers such as Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Maria Cornejo. Her work was a major part of KnollTextiles 2011 retrospective exhibition at the Bard Graduate Center and has been accepted into the permanent collection of Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian National Design Museum. Founded by Florence Knoll in 1947, KnollTextiles is a division of Knoll, Inc., and maintains a marketing and design studio at 1330 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10019.
