Kimball announces the promotion of Lisa Carter to the position of Director of Sales, East. Ms. Carter joined Kimball in September of 2015 as the Region Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region. In her new role as Director of Sales – East, Ms. Carter will be responsible for the regional teams of the Mid Atlantic, Northeast, New England, and New Jersey/Philadelphia.
In her role as Region Manager, Ms. Carter managed and increased market share in the Mid Atlantic. During this time, not only did she become well-connected to the design community, but she also expanded and developed her sales team which further enhanced her leadership skills.
Prior to joining Kimball, Ms. Carter was with Allsteel as a Corporate Accounts Manager. There she identified and secured new business opportunities with Fortune 1000 customers by successfully communicating core competencies and best practices necessary to establish lasting partnerships. Here she met and exceeded client service expectations by developing flexible service models and applying expertise in client relationship management at all points of service. She provided national and global resources to each client to advance customer growth and support business objectives and increased the number and depth of customer partnerships by implementing problem solving processes, developing process improvement strategies, and streamlining business operations.
