In May, KI partnered with Green Bay, Wisc.-based nonprofit Friends of Haiti to donate 300 of KI’s metal folding chairs to clinics, classrooms, community centers and churches in Haiti. The donation is supporting the work of volunteer professionals from Friends of Haiti as they provide critical medical, dental, and educational services to Haitian communities in the wake of the pandemic.
KI donated chairs to 15 sites in several towns surrounding the capital city of Port-au-Prince, including Thomazeau, Gran Boulage and Noyau.
The donation aligns with KI’s “Changing Lives One Chair at a Time” initiative, which focuses on giving back to move a community forward. KI is proud to make furniture that can support the needs of our global community.
