KI Awarded Contract to Supply TCPN Members

KI has partnered with The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) to provide innovative furniture and architectural wall solutions to 37,000-plus participating TCPN members throughout the United States working in local and state government agencies, K-12 school districts, higher education and nonprofits.

TCPN is a national governmental purchasing cooperative who has contracts with national vendors for commonly purchased products and services allowing entities to make compliant purchases at a valued rate. The primary lead agency for the KI contract is Region 4 Educational Service Center (ESC).

“KI is proud to build upon and expand its unique partnership with TCPN,” said Dick Resch, chief executive officer, KI. “This classroom furniture contract reinforces KI’s leadership position in education and will allow greater accessibility to KI’s expansive education product portfolio while making our furniture even more affordable for all qualified purchasing agencies.”

“TCPN is proud that KI was awarded a contract for furniture and related products. The contract is the result of a competitive public bid by Region 4 Educational Service Center, on behalf of all city and county governments, higher education, K-12, and nonprofit entities. Seventy seven furniture suppliers responded to the Region 4 ESC bid,” says Chris Penny, Vice President of TCPN. “The fact that KI was one of a handful of awarded vendors speaks to the value and benefit of their contract offering.”

About The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN)
TCPN is a national governmental purchasing cooperative, established in 1997 whose contracts have been competitively bid and awarded, by a governmental entity serving in the lead agency role, to national vendors for commonly purchased products and services, including facilities, furniture, office supplies and equipment, security systems and technology.  Entities that must comply with purchasing procedures mandated by state laws and regulations, like public and private schools, colleges and universities, cities, counties, nonprofits, and all governmental entities, use TCPN contracts to increase their efficiency and economy when procuring goods and services. As a national purchasing cooperative, TCPN leverages one of the largest pools of purchasing potential and allows agencies to receive a combined buying power regardless of the entity’s size.
