Selected from more than 10,000 submissions across 68 countries, Tumble stood out among a highly competitive field to impress an international jury of 129 independent design experts. In addition, the Tumble table has been recognized with a Good Design Award in the furniture category, presented by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum. One of the most established and respected design programs, the Good Design Award celebrates products that demonstrate innovation, functionality, and positive impact. This distinction highlights Tumble’s thoughtful balance of form, function, and environmental responsibility.
Designed by Union Design, Tumble reimagines how everyday surfaces can be made more responsibly. Its tabletop is crafted from recycled textile waste, transforming discarded fabrics into a durable, high-performing material. By diverting textiles from landfills and repurposing them into functional design, Tumble demonstrates that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
Tumble’s form further reinforces its material narrative. The sculptural base draws inspiration from the tumble-dry care symbol, a subtle yet meaningful reference bringing the story full circle.
