KFI Studios Launches Vaux Table
KFI Studios is excited to introduce Vaux, their newest table series. Designed by Philadelphia-based Union Design, the Vaux table puts a modern spin on the traditional steel table base. While traditional steel bases have hard angles and edges, Vaux is designed with tapered and domed forms. The soft forms are elevated off the ground to create a feeling of visual lightness. The minimalist design along with the monochromatic finish and singular material gives it a clean aesthetic.
Vaux is distinctive in its use of advanced steel forming techniques to create a sculpted form that is not common in steel frame construction. The durable formed steel performs in hard working environments without losing design style. The smooth sculpted form also allows for easy cleaning.
The Vaux base is available as a single column for round, square, and squircle tops or a double column for rectangle tops. With four height options – occasional, standard, counter, and bar – Vaux would make a great addition to any space. Vaux works equally as well as an occasional table in a reception area, a café table in a busy cafeteria, or a conference table for large group meetings. Power options are also available, and Vaux’s hollow columns provide an ideal cable management solution.
Designers have four finishes to choose from for the base – black, white, silver, and sapphire blue. The top is available in 26 standard Wilsonart high pressure laminate colors with a 2-3 week lead time plus the entire collection of Wilsonart HPL laminate colors is available on special order.
