Kettal, the Spanish design brand, and the Eames Office present the Eames Pavilion System, a new modular architectural system that brings Charles and Ray Eames’ visionary 1948 concept into the 21st century.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience designing and manufacturing modular pavilions, Kettal worked closely with the Eames Office over several years to translate Charles and Ray Eames’ vision into a contemporary building system. After meticulously documenting every detail of the Eames House – from its materials and finishes to its structural profiles – the team adapted the design for modern manufacturing and performance standards.
The project highlights Charles and Ray Eames’ remarkable ability to design not just for the present, but for the ways people would live and work decades into the future. Designed to be expanded, reconfigured, disassembled, and relocated, the system offers a compelling alternative to static architecture that feels increasingly relevant as workplaces adapt to shifting business needs, evolving teams, and new ways of working.
