JZA+D has announced the hiring of two interior designers, a move to add depth and fresh thinking to the firm’s team of architectural and interiors innovators.
The integrated design firm’s partners, Joshua Zinder, AIA, and Mark Sullivan, AIA, announced the selection of the experienced designers, Kristin Bachman and Nancie Giardina, this week. The new hires result from Princeton-based JZA+D’s continued growth in such sectors as multifamily residential, commercial office buildings, hospitality, worship, and higher education. The firm’s evolution led the partners to seek out top talent for the firm’s interiors studio.
“Kristin and Nancie bring complementary skill sets and professional experience to our team,” says Zinder, who founded JZA+D and serves as vice president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for the state of New Jersey. “Kristin’s depth of experience, creativity and leadership will ensure that we continue to deliver value and satisfaction to our clients, while Nancie’s design and technical skills make her an immediate asset with potential for leadership roles.”

– Kristin Bachman joins the firm in the role of Senior Designer, bringing robust technical capabilities and over two decades of experience in corporate design and project management to the table. She will lead the development of creative solutions for JZA+D’s various clients and project types. Recipient of a Bachelor of Arts degree from the interior design program at Spring Garden College (Philadelphia, PA) Kristin has led design, planning and project management services for hundreds of thousands of square feet of corporate, healthcare, and government spaces.

– Nancie Giardina brings to the role of Interior Designer her experience built on a significant portfolio of design for hospitality, gaming, and residential projects. After earning her Bachelor of Science in interior design from Philadelphia University, Nancie has developed a skill set that includes 3D rendering, space planning, concept design, client engagement and project management.
