Jonathan Witmer is Donghia’s New CEO and President

Andrea Rubelli, newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Donghia, Inc., announced that Jonathan Witmer is Donghia’s new CEO and President.

Ms. Rubelli, who succeeded her father Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli, as Chairman, said, “Our past Chairman, whom I thank on behalf of everyone at Donghia for the confidence and energy, that he – together with our other shareholders – has put in the company since the 2005 acquisition, has stated that – while very active at Rubelli – he isn’t able to travel to the States frequently enough to keep an active role with Donghia.

“Therefore, by becoming Chairman, I am handing all executive powers to Jonathan Witmer. Jonathan began his career working for Citigroup and then spent 18 years at Bausch & Lomb – working on their global businesses, including the Ray-Ban franchise, Consumer Healthcare, Beauty Care, and Vision Care while living and working in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Jonathan next joined Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton where he was responsible for three of their global luxury businesses, including the hospitality and contract businesses and OEM manufacturing. Jonathan is an experienced and skilled executive with significant operational and commercial experience across a wide variety of businesses and global markets.

“With a sharp vision from outside our industry, an understanding and passion for our business, and strong people and team building skills, Jonathan will be the full time leader that Donghia deserves. He will report to me, while Bill Peterson, Luigi Nonino, and all Donghia V.P., Directors and Managers previously reporting to me will now report to Jonathan, effective immediately.

“Please join me welcoming Jonathan to Donghia and wishing him best of success in his new role.”
