Jamie Stern and Goodrich Introduce Six Collections Across Furniture, Rugs, and Leather

The collaboration combines Jamie Stern’s forty years of manufacturing expertise with Goodrich’s thoughtful approach to interior and product design.

Jamie Stern announces the launch of Jamie Stern × Goodrich, an expansive collaboration with New York design studio Goodrich spanning six new collections across furniture, rugs, and leather.

The launch marks the first major expression of Jamie Stern’s creative direction under William Oberlin, who joined the company as Creative Director in 2024. The collaboration is part of the company’s evolution toward new product development and creative partnerships as a part of its next chapter.

What began as a conversation around rugs quickly expanded. Working with Goodrich founders Matthew Goodrich and Hines Fischer, Jamie Stern developed the collaboration across categories, moving from rugs into seating, banquettes, and leather. Together, the teams worked through materials, proportions, and construction to create products with a distinct point of view, engineered for the demands of commercial interiors.

“Jamie Stern has always been about bringing great ideas to life,” says founder Jamie Stern. “We’ve spent decades building the knowledge and capabilities to make products exceptionally well. This collaboration builds on that foundation while opening up new possibilities for how we work with designers and what we can create together.”

Ogden Feneon

The launch introduces Feneon, the first rug collection designed by Goodrich, featuring three hand-knotted constructions: Charles, Eugene, and Ogden. Each design shifts with light and perspective, using contrasting fibers, tonal variation, and sculptural changes in pile to create color that changes as you move around it.

Twofold Leather

Twofold Leather turns a single color into a flexible design system through texture. Each color is offered smooth, known as Plane, or embossed in four coordinated motifs: Dot, Dash, Rib, and Check. The tone-on-tone approach allows designers to introduce pattern and dimension without changing color, or layer smooth and textured leathers across an interior.

Honcho
Maven

The collaboration extends into four furniture collections. Honcho pairs tailored upholstery with a tapered wood frame and gently curved back-rest; Spry centers on a light spry profile with wood or metal legs; Lug, with its bottom-heavy appearance, translates the comfort of a lounge chair across multiple project applications; and Maven a banquette disguised as a sofa, combines residential softness with the ergonomics of a commercial banquette.

Across the collections, Goodrich’s approach to proportion, materiality, and application comes together with Jamie Stern’s expertise in engineering, manufacturing, customization, and specification. Designed with both character and real-world application in mind, the products give designers the flexibility to adapt them across hospitality, workplace, multifamily, and commercial interiors, and across projects of different scales and requirements.

For Jamie Stern, the collaboration also establishes a framework for what comes next: pairing the company’s manufacturing capabilities and material expertise with designers who bring new perspectives to its portfolio in both workplace and hospitality.
