James Cesario Named Director of West Elm Workspace
West Elm is pleased to announce the appointment of contract industry veteran James Cesario to the position of director of brand marketing for its West Elm Workspace division. The Brooklyn-based home furnishings brand launched West Elm Workspace, an exclusive 75+ piece collection of office furniture created in collaboration with Inscape at NeoCon earlier this year. Cesario is responsible for all marketing activities including maintaining and monitoring sales, costs, profitability, market penetration/share, customer satisfaction and product line expansion.
Jim Brett, West Elm president said, âWhen we undertook the task of developing West Elm Workspace, we knew the person we would charge with directing the division would have to bring with them a deep knowledge of the contract market. We believe Jamesâ experience in this unique space will continue to strengthen West Elm Workspaceâs position as a leading innovator of modern workplace solutions that suit todayâs changing office culture.â
Prior to joining West Elm, Cesario served in sales and marketing positions with Herman Miller, first as architecture & design sales manager for New York, most recently as marketing manager for the companyâs materials category. He has also held business
development roles with Fritz Hansen and Luminaire.
