Introducing Tate, designed by Here Now

A modular seating system that empowers designers and nurtures well-being.

Tate is an intuitive system of modular furniture components that link and rotate through a patent-pending pivot connector, unlocking endless possibilities for layout and interaction. Developed by Here Now, Tate offers a new approach to space planning—one that is as functional and flexible as it is fresh and inviting.

A response to the growing need for mental, emotional, and social well-being in public spaces. Tate provides user-controlled privacy, offering the individual a sense of defined personal space while still enabling safe, comfortable interaction. The result is a system that encourages connection—without compromising autonomy.

At its core, Tate is a designer’s toolkit: cushions, base beams, and tables that snap together to become whatever the space needs them to be. Whether used in education, healthcare, workplace, or hospitality environments, Tate is easy to specify, fun to configure, and adaptable to change.

Tate redefines what modular seating can be:
A platform for creativity. A tool for well-being. A system built for the evolving needs of people and place.

What will you create?

At Here Now we believe, as a company led by industrial design and manufacturing, it is our job to create the tools that allow you the interior designer, architect and specifier to create the solutions. Solutions that are meaningful to you, to the environments you envision, and to the people who experience them.

Tate components are your building blocks: easy to specify, fun to configure, dynamic and flexible in application.

Back to back, side to side or create a quiet place to hide.

Whether you’re designing for privacy, interaction, play, or pause, Tate is a creative canvas—a system that adapts to the rhythm of real life.

Keep it together.

Balance controlled spacing with community—supporting safe interaction without compromising connection.

Time for change.

Furniture designed to give you the freedom to shape space in fresh, functional, and adaptable ways.

Pivot makes perfect.

At the heart of the system is a patent-pending pivot connector that lets pieces link, rotate, and reconfigure with ease. It ships flat-packed, assembles tool-free, and unlocks nearly endless configurations—all with a tactile, intuitive experience.
