Introducing Sabi: HOLLY HUNT’s Latest Collection of Textiles, Wallcoverings, Leather, and Rugs

Drawing inspiration from the Desert Rose and the time-worn beauty of rock formations and ancient dwellings, Sabi uses rugged patterns and smooth textures to evoke a sense of beauty in antiquity.

The Sabi Collection by HOLLY HUNT debuted last week at Paris DĂ©co Off and will become available online and in showrooms from January 30th.

Featuring a range of texturally smooth yet visually rugged textiles, leather, wallcoverings and rugs, the Sabi Collection is inspired by “things whose beauty comes with age” – from the compositions of time-worn rock formations, to the enduring architectural marvel of ancient dwellings, and timeless iconography such as the resilient desert rose.

Desert Rose

Woven with a matelassé effect, Desert Rose offers a stunning modern take on floral patterns. The textured background and distinct colors create a wow-factor, making this textile a unique interpretation of a rose.

Sunray Velvet (left), Carlsbad (right)

A performance velvet with the look and feel of silk, Sunray Velvet is made of outdoor polyester and is a great choice when high-traffic upholstery is needed.

Inspired by rocks and stones, Carlsbad is full of visual texture and versatility. A broad color range, from neutral to bright, makes Carlsbad a great choice for a pop of color.

Jasper (top), High Dune (bottom)

The chevron pattern of Jasper is created with a beautiful slub chenille. The soft hand and neutral colors create an outdoor-suitable upholstery that looks luxe and feels cozy. Woven in 100% outdoor acrylic, this textile offers the perfect blend of beauty and performance.

Just as its name implies, High Dune is a jacquard pattern inspired by the look and texture of sand dunes. The neutral palette and useable scale create a solution dyed acrylic textile with an unlimited variety of uses.

Mount Etna (left), Antwerp (right)

A herringbone pattern made of plush and incredibly soft yarns, Mount Etna is as versatile as it is beautiful. Offered in an array of neutral colors, this textile has cozy written all over it.

Antwerp is a delicate striated surface showcasing the versatility of linen. The striped pattern’s lovely handwoven quality would look beautiful as either drapery or upholstery.

Clearwater (left), Gobi (right)

As its name suggests, Clearwater is inspired by the shoreline at the water’s edge. This chenille has visual interest and a hint of contrast provided by the slub yarn running through the weft.

No need to compromise the look of luxury with this versatile textile. Offered in a gorgeous neutral palette, Gobi is a natural choice for large-scale furniture and is stocked pre-backed.

Chakra (left), Cairn (right)

Chakra features a sheer gorgeous bouclé yarn throughout, creating a textural surface with a beautiful sheen and hand. The palette is soft and luxurious, perfect for those large and sunny spaces that require a window treatment that is fade-resistant without compromising on style.

A pale stripe repeats across the width of this sheer textile, resulting in a lovely pattern. The palette ranges in pale to dark colors, adding versatility and a unique look. Woven from solution dyed acrylic, Cairn will create a curtain with visual texture and a soft luster.

Lacey Trail (left), Criss Cross (right)

The solid color of this textile features an allover embroidery with stitches that change to create the appearance of depth and movement. Lacey Trail is inspired by the desert sands that shift with the wind.

With a nod to fashion, Criss Cross adds a bit of multicolored sophistication to HOLLY HUNT’s outdoor offerings.  Bleach-cleanable and colorfast, this is a versatile solution dyed acrylic with flair.

Aerial View (left), Rock Quartz (middle), Moroccan Diamond (right)

Inspired by the natural landscape as seen from high above, Aerial View is a plain textile with visual interest. The surface has a unique combination of weaves, changing and moving across the surface to create this tonal pattern. At the window or upholstered, Aerial View is a modern take on damask.

The neutral colors of Rock Quartz, combined with a nubby high-low surface, create a textile that is perfect for upholstery, especially when just a touch of texture is needed.

HOLLY HUNT took its Smokey faux fur, with its lush and dense yarns, and added more texture with a diamond embroidery pattern. Inspired by Moroccan rugs, this quilted fur is a showstopper.

Dolomite (left), Shadow Box (right)

Woven with a menswear vibe, Dolomite is a versatile upholstery pattern with timeless appeal. Look closely and see a bit of color variation along with a wonderful and substantial hand, making Dolomite workable for many applications.

A combination of wool and linen yarns, plus an elegant basketweave texture, creates a beautiful plain textile. With a color palette that references the desert landscape, Shadow Box works as a sophisticated drapery—or as luxurious upholstery when backing is added.

Tectonic (left), Linen Wisp, (middle), Sardius (right)

The small-scale pattern creates a surface with an elegant look and feel. Woven with outdoor acrylic and linen, Tectonic is a true indoor-outdoor choice as the linen adds a natural quality hard to find in outdoor performance textiles. The linen is treated with a finishing process so it resists mold and is stain-resistant, making this a great choice for outdoors.

Linen Wisp is a double-wide drapery showcasing a soft “wisp” of color, this textile is fabricated in 100% linen. It can be used as both a standalone drapery or as a semi-sheer.

Linen yarns are the star in this luxurious and versatile textile. The luster and texture of Sardius would look equally at home as drapery or upholstery.

A soft and supple leather with a subtle crocodile pattern, Croc is a sophisticated leather, perfect for upholstery. The colors are natural with a hint of sheen for a luxe effect.

Pipe Dream

Pipe Dream is a two-panel mural featuring a playful large-scale geometric pattern, offered in a range of thoughtfully coordinated color schemes that create a dynamic and captivating backdrop in any room.

Gustave (left), Massimo (right)

Gustave is a captivating motif of rich jewel tones with a subtle sheen. Its vibrant color scheme and textural look evoke Venetian plaster, at once beautifully aged and boldly modern in any space.

Massimo is an exquisitely soft poly velvet with a luxurious hand feel, offered in sophisticated colors ranging from neutrals to a deep mulberry shade. Sumptuous and textural, its natural directional nap creates highs and lows in color when viewed at different angles.

Emile (left), Frederic (middle), Subtle Splendor (right)

Emile is an elegant pattern with a subtle hint of sheen, evoking the look of hand-applied Venetian plaster. Its soft nuanced colors and textural appeal will add serenity and modern sophistication in rooms.

Frederic is a luminous cascading vertical striping pattern with a subtle sheen. The softly striated look and nuanced colors create a seamless design which is delicate and richly textured.

Subtle Splendor is a sisal grasscloth with a soft shimmer. Its refined texture creates nuances in color—from afar, it appears to have shades of one hue, but up close, its elegant multi-color variance comes into focus.

Straight Shot (left), Varenna (middle), Hide Out (right)

Straight Shot is a performance wallcovering resembling raffia grasscloth, with its elevated textured emboss and multitone colors. A luxurious design combining horizontal movement and subtle vertical details, it’s ideal in residential and commercial settings. It is an antimicrobial Type II vinyl.

Varenna is a small-scale double print with a subtle metallic shimmer, perfect for modern and contemporary spaces. The delicate details give it the soft look of a luxurious linen textile.

Hide Out is a handsome embossed vinyl offered in a range of dark colors. The sumptuous look and texture of this design is reminiscent of rhino and elephant hides, giving it a refined quality that adds a masculine mood to rooms, such as a bar lounge or home library.
