Introducing Kaleidoscope: An Innovative Collection of Modular Designs from Karndean Designflooring
Karndean has pushed the boundaries of flooring design to create a custom collection of new compatible geometric formats. Available July 2016, Kaleidoscope features six designs inspired by in-demand shapes such as Cubix (cubes), Hexa (hexagons) and Apex (chevrons). Utilizing our most popular colors from our standard ranges including wood, stone, and new solids the Kaleidoscope gives architects, interior designers, and contractors the freedom to explore a world of patterns and shapes to create a compelling, zoned space.
With Kaleidoscope, designers and specifiers have the ability to introduce bright colors against wood and stone to create added visual interest. Design is at the heart of Karndean Designflooring, and thanks to these interchangeable designs and colors, the design possibilities of Kaleidoscope truly are endless.
As the shapes are cut from our standard ranges, Kaleidoscope boasts wear layers ranging from 12- to 30-mil, making the collection suitable for a wide range of commercial applications, from office spaces and multi-family housing units to busy hospitals and restaurants. Furthermore, Kaleidoscope retains the key technical specification qualities of the ranges, including authentic designs, slip resistance, and light reflectance value.
Like all Karndean products, Kaleidoscope meets all required environmental criteria. It is FloorScore certified, eligible for LEED credits, and carries a low-VOC certification from the USGEI. Furthermore, Karndean’s adhesives are water-based and free from harmful emissions. Karndean Designflooring does not require sealing, is durable and versatile, and easy to maintain–ideal for commercial settings.
