Interior Design Trade Marketplace Daniel House Club Welcomes Three New Visionary Members to Its Board of Advisors
Alexa Hampton, David Kahl, and Travis Huff Join Three Existing Board Members to Boost Leadership and Logistics Efforts
Daniel House Club, a membership-based marketplace created to streamline the business of interior design, proudly welcomes its three newest members, Alexa Hampton, David Kahl, and Travis Huff, to its growing Board of Advisors. The trio joins the companyâs three additional outside board members, Susan Fernandez, Jake Weatherly, and Steve Kreuger.Â
“It is difficult to overstate the importance of good advice,â said Daniel House Clubâs Co-Founder and CEO, Alexander Spalding. âWe started our advisory board at the same time that we launched Daniel House Club and have relied on their input every step of the way. To succeed, we must learn from the best and brightest from every segment of our industry and are very excited about our latest board members who will expand our knowledge base in logistics, sales, organizational growth, and customer insight.”
As Daniel House Club continues to establish itself as an industry authority, the team is confident in its decision to bring interior designer, decorator, and author Alexa Hampton on board. Recognized on the highly-regarded AD100 Hall of Fame list by Architectural Digest and ELLE Decorâs A-List, Hampton offers unique insights into what it takes to be successful in the interior design industry. Daniel House Club is looking forward to working with Hampton to learn more about what emerging resources are helping designers achieve their goals, and on the contrary, which tools are not as useful as they seem.
David Kahl is Founder and former CEO of e-commerce direct-to-consumer furniture brand Fully, which he sold to MillerKnoll in 2019. He joins the Daniel House Club team with a wealth of leadership experience that the company is thrilled to have access to. The team looks forward to his perspective on building company culture and brand management and celebrates the opportunity for Kahl to help scale Daniel House Clubâs revenue to over $10 million.
Entering a role that Daniel House Club has been seeking to fill for several years now, Travis Huff, Vice President of Sales at Freight Club, is joining the team with expertise in the furniture logistics category. Previously a part of the leadership team at Wayfair where he led B2B sales efforts and scaled the company to $2 billion, Huff will work with Daniel House Club to build and scale a sales team that propels ongoing growth.
âAs a lifelong member of the interior design community, Iâm always interested in businesses that will meaningfully add to the design experience,â said Alexa Hampton. âSelfishly, I want to be involved in Daniel House Clubâs cultivation in order to sustain them and watch them grow in our fertile design landscape. This is an exciting opportunity for me.â
