Latest collection blends nature-inspired colours with soft base notes
Interface, Inc., a worldwide commercial flooring company and global leader in sustainability, today launches its new collection: Woven Gradience. The range combines naturally-inspired colours with soft, muted greys to allow customers to create a unique flooring pattern.
Woven Gradience features fading bold hues which transition into soft, relaxing greys, allowing designers to effortlessly integrate flashes of colour into flooring design. The range is a perfect option for both the office and education sectors.
“The team’s inspiration for Woven Gradience comes from nature’s seamless natural blending of different colours and textures,” said Mandy Leeming, Design Director EAAA. “It’s a celebration of colour – but presented in such a way that it seamlessly blends into workplace surroundings. By bringing in bright, bold, natural tones such as Rose, Emerald, Forest and Ocean, and gently shifting these into neutral greys, we can create visually stimulating floor patterns that feel contemporary and fresh. While the greys can also be used together to create muted floor patterns. The different colourways can blend into one another to create walkways or zones through flooring. This collection offers a clever, functional approach to workspaces with no compromise on quality, design or sustainability.”
The Woven Gradience collection is part of the Interface Carbon Neutral Floors™ programme, making all the tiles within it carbon neutral across their full product lifecycle. The tiles use CQuest™Bio backing – a non-vinyl, non-bitumen backing made with a bio-composite, containing bio-based and recycled fillers. The materials are net carbon negative.
The collection spans 12 colours, all inspired by hues of nature, which can be laid in multiple ways to create unique flooring patterns. The eight bold colours in the collection are Emerald, Ocean, Terracotta, Sunrise, Rose, Forest, Lagoon and Sage. The greys across the range cover the full spectrum from Ink, to Charcoal, Stone and Pearl. Each bold colour can be blended with a grey, or with another colour to create a vivid palette.
