IIDA NY VP of Advocacy Named President-Elect of IDLNY

2016.0404.Nwy.Dan VillellaThe Interior Designers for Legislation in New York (IDLNY), the legislative body for all interior design related associations in New York State, is excited to announce that Dan Villella has been named President-Elect, starting this June.

The well-deserved appointment comes on the heels of his role as VP of Advocacy at The International Interior Design Association New York Chapter (IIDA NY), where he’s worked extensively with IDLNY to unite the two organizations through a letter writing campaign aimed at passing bills in NY state that support legislation securing Stamp & Seal privileges for qualified designers.

Dan works as project interior manager at Integrated Design Group, a firm specializing in Institutional Design. He also devotes time to developing future industry leaders as an interior design instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a BFA in Interior Design.
