IIDA Industry Roundtable No. 21 Puts a Focus on the Business of Design

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) hosted its 21st Annual Industry Roundtable on January 12-14, 2018, engaging a group of some of the industry’s top leaders for a discussion on topics relevant to the interior design profession. “The Business of Design”, the overarching theme of this year’s meeting, encouraged participants to think not only about their own businesses and teams, but the ways in which design impacts the unique cultures and ultimately, the bottom lines of their clients.

“The heart of the design industry has always been people – they’re at the core of what designers do,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP, who moderated the discussion.
