IIDA is honored to announce the winners of two prestigious design competitions: the 49th Annual Interior Design Competition, celebrating innovation and creativity in the industry, as well as the 30th Annual Will Ching Design Competition, which honors the work of commercial design firms with five or fewer employees.

“The extraordinary work submitted in all categories offers insight into how designers are driving the future of the built space,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “It is an honor to witness such remarkable talent across continents and project types, with both finalists and winning projects showcasing their outstanding achievements.”

The winners of the two award competitions were selected by Kuchar Studio Owner and Creative Director, Sarah Kuchar-Parkinson, IIDA; Leyden Lewis Design Studio Founder and Creative Director, Leyden Lewis; and Wimberly Interiors SVP and Global Director, Margaret McMahon.

“While all of the finalists displayed exceptional work, we take immense pride in recognizing these winners for their remarkable designs,” said Lewis on behalf of the jury. “Irrespective of the firm’s size or project complexity, the industry witnesses exceptional design every day, and these winners exemplify just that.”
